However, we also rotate our moorings

from time to time in order to provide

our repeat customers

with a unique experience each time they visit.

Our GPS database contains

more than 40 sites

ranging from walls to caverns,

towers and pinnacles

to terraced shelves. We also enjoy exploring

new sections of the reef, to find new places to dive.

Our location on the east end of Roatan

allows us convenient access to the outer islands

of Morat, Helene, Barbaretta and the

Pigeon Cayes.

The world renowned site at Morat Wall

is one such excursion we like to offer our divers. This site is reputed to be one of the richest in the entire Caribbean.

Day trips to the deserted islands, which

make up Pigeon Cayes, are also a big hit with

our guests. Imagine spending the morning

diving a fantastic

offshore wall and the afternoon

relaxing on your own

deserted caye with a beer in hand.

Here at Tropical Island Divers we are

fortunate to be based on an area of

Roatan's world famous reef that is

practically un-explored. We maintain a

system of moorings, this enable us to prevent

damage to the reef caused when anchoring

our dive boats.

We ensure we always have enough

fixed moorings, so we can take you somewhere different each day.

We are also able to arrange to dive the

nearby wreck of the merchant vessel

Prince Albert.

This wreck is thick with

encrusting sponges and corals.

The structure just teems with life.
